This is the official name of the Malaysian government’s tourism campaign, intended to bring more than 36M tourists and RM 168B to the nation’s coffers in 2014. The first “Visit Malaysia…” was initiated in 1990 and was hugely successful. Each campaign has significantly increased the number of world visitors coming to Malaysia to take part in hundreds of festivals and special events. According to the Minister of Tourism, Malaysia has become the 10th most popular tourist destination in the world. They consider themselves to be the crown jewel of the Southeast, a land of diverse cultures, sights, environments, and people.
